The machine for distributing railway ballast contains a self-propelled chassis 1, on the front part of the frame 2 of which are installed with the possibility of separate shifts along the height of the landing gear 3 two plows 4 arranged at an angle to each other, in the lower part of which are cutouts for railways 5 and 6 . The machine is driven by the drive 7, and the machine is controlled from the cabin 8. At the ends of the plows 4, shields 9 are mounted to guide the ballast. The shields 9, located at the ends of the plows 4 hitting each other, are mounted for movement in the plane of the corresponding plow 4 by the hydraulic cylinders 1O along the guides 11, which are fixed on the plows 4 and are formed by bridges. On the rear plows 4, additional plows 12 are mounted to operate the machine in two directions. Plows 4 and 12 are interconnected by means of jumpers. The plows 4 are mounted on the support frame 13, on which the guide pillars 14 are mounted.
